Spring is finally here, and you know what that means...Spring Cleaning!
We will start posting some handy essential oil tips, and inspired by springtime, we will start off with some cleaning tips.
To help you out, here is a great
recipe for a DIY bathroom cleaner that incorporates essential oils:
1/3 c. baking soda
1/4 c. borax 2 TB to
1/4 c. grated soap
10 drops pine
essential oil
20 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops tea tree essential
oil
I have learned for experience, that Borax makes everything cleaner and whiter.
All of these essential oils have
anti-microbial properties! Tea tree oil also acts as a fungicide and a bactericide, and is effectively used around the world to ward off infections.
Now you can get crackin' at that bathroom-and when you're done....can you come over and clean mine?
